PDA Communication Module Description

Our Patent Pending microprocessor controlled two way infrared Multimedia Communication Module attaches to your Palm OS PDA with 3 small Velcro tabs and has the following features:

• A powerful infrared blaster for controlling your multimedia equipment: TVs, Stereos, VCRs, CD Players, DVD Players, Home Automation systems, security equipment, etc.
• A sensitive infrared receiver for receiving status from security systems, home automation systems (like our Cybermate equipment). 
• An IRDA port for un-wired PDA communication.  PDA software included with our Home Automation package CPTO-1 allow intelligent control over multimedia equipment, like our CD Pilot and Home Pilot.
• When used with one or more Cybermates,  the PDA Communication Module commands the local Cybermate to do the gear control either locally or remotely.

Our Multimedia Communication Module will work with any Palm OS PDA that has its infrared (IRDA) port located  on the front center of the unit.  PDAs with bright screens are especially nice as they are easily viewable in dimly lit environments.  It is powered by two AAA batteries, which last up to 20 times longer than the batteries which power the PDA, about 8 months of daily use.
