Features
We provide a Communication Module that attaches to your PDA
and specialized very user friendly software that gives users instant access to
all their multimedia equipment (TVs, VCRs, DVD, CDs, ..etc.) in their home or
office.
Our Home Pilot PDA automation software gives a user generalized control over all multimedia equipment including security and lighting. Control pages are specialized by function to give users intuitive access to their gear without fumbling through a pile of remotes. For example, a channels screen categorizes TV, cable, and satellite channels by function, like Sports, News, and Movies. When in the Sports category, for example, the user can simply tap the name Golf Channel to make it appear on his TV.

Remote Demo. Click on buttons to send commands and/or change pages. In actual operation, our Home Pilot is used as your interface to control your home.
Two hardware versions are available.
Home Pilot-1
The Home Pilot-1 (part# HP-1)
is a small
PDA Communication Module (CM) that triggers a Cybermate
Control Unit to perform the control function, and presents the Couch Potato user friendly control screens,
just like you see on your PC. This is an "Add On" for the
required Couch Potato package
(CPTO-1).
HP-1 Setup
You setup control over your multimedia gear including lighting in your house
or business with our Couch Potato Pro software and one or more Cybermate Control
Units so that you can control things with your PC. When
satisfied, you select the menu item "Create Palm Data
Files", then Hot Sync the files to your PDA. Now snap on the Communication Module
and your ready to go. A PC
is only needed for setup as Cybermates can be downloaded to operate
"stand alone". See the Couch Potato User’s Guide for details.
