Cybermate Control Unit Description
Our newest processor based Cybermate Control Unit has the following feature set:
A powerful infrared blaster for controlling your multimedia equipment from across the room.
Three addressable IR output ports which can be connected to "stick-on" emitters for individual control of identical equipments, or the control of equipment that are not in line of sight with the front of Cybermate
A sensitive infrared receiver for receiving command triggers from our Palm Communication Module, or for learning infrared commands that are not included with our IR database. Learns both carrier and flash based remote types.
A RS485 port for controlling RS485 controlled peripherals. This port's baud rate is software adjustable from 9600 to 115,200 baud with a default of 115,200.
A local area network port (3LAN) for connecting our sensors, which can tell you things like temperature, whether equipment is on or off, and the status of your security system. It can also be used to close relays, add IR receivers, and add additional addressable IR outputs. 3LAN devices can be spaced up to 800' apart.
A SWP I/O port for connecting up to 8 SWP boards. Each SWP has 8 dry contact switch inputs for sensors, and 8 addressable outputs. The outputs can be configured for infrared or switch closure. You can distribute SWPs up to 50' apart or stack them for up to 64 I/O. This recently added port that is not not shown below.
An X10 power line interface for lighting and other power line equipment in your house.
Three Dry Contact Switch inputs.
